The service
Holdfast is a collection of browser-based tools that convert your data, for example iMessage backups into PDF or HEIC photos into JPG, entirely in your browser. Your data is processed locally and never transmitted to our servers.
Licence
Upon purchase, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Holdfast tool you bought. Each licence includes up to 5 conversions and is for your personal use only, one licence per person, for your own data. It may not be shared, sold, or transferred to another person.
Each conversion attempt counts toward your limit. If you reach your limit and require additional conversions for legitimate personal use, contact us at [email protected].
Your licence key is unique to you. You may use it on multiple devices for your own conversions, but sharing your key with others is a violation of these terms and may result in your key being revoked without refund.
Refund policy
Due to the digital nature of this product, we generally do not offer refunds once a licence key has been delivered. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service and we are unable to resolve it, we will issue a full refund at our discretion.

What we guarantee
- Each tool will process the input its page describes and produce the output its page describes
- All data types or features described on the tool's page will be included where present in your input
- Your data will never leave your device during conversion
What we don't guarantee
- Perfect accuracy of converted output, minor discrepancies may occur due to source data inconsistencies or formatting edge cases
- Compatibility with future changes to the source or destination formats, we will endeavour to update the tools if formats change
- Conversion of data, fields, or features not described as supported on the tool's page
- Resolution of errors caused by third party software you import the output into
Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Process data belonging to other people without their consent
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the Service
- Share your licence key publicly or commercially
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Holdfast is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Apple, Google, or any other platform whose data its tools process. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, inaccurate conversions, or any other damages arising from use of the Service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
